Studies on the development of antibodies for the highly hydrophobic plasticizers DINCH and DEHT
Analytical Biochemistry, 2018Diisononylcyclohexane-1,2-dicarboxylate (DINCH) and di-2-ethylhexyl terephthalate (DEHT), two of the most important substitutes for phthalate plasticizers, are used for a wide range of applications. Consequently, an increasing occurrence in urine and environmental samples is reported. Reliable and fast analytical methods for the quantification of these

Di-2-ethylhexyl-terephtalate (DEHT) is a general purpose plasticizer and a structural isomer to di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP) being known for its toxicity. Despite the fact that DEHT is used in quite a number of synthetics for medical device production including equipment for intravenous administration, toxicity of DEHT has not been assessed after ...

Possible human health effects of phthalate plasticizers have been intensely discussed during the last decade. Di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), the phthalate acid ester with the largest production volume worldwide, has been substituted by new compounds like Diisononyl 1,2-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid (DINCH) or Di(2-ethylhexyl) terephthalate (DEHT) in

The carcinogenicity and chronic toxicity potential of di-2-ethylhexyl terephthalate (DEHT) was assessed in F-344 rats (50/sex/dose) by dietary exposure for 104 weeks. Exposure levels of 0, 1500, 6000 or 12,000 ppm resulted in average daily doses of 79, 324 and 666 mg/kg/day for males and 102, 418 and 901 mg/kg/day for females.
