Konvencionalni inajviše korišteni postupak pri reciklaciji papira je deinking flotacija. Obzirom da postupak zahtjeva kontrolu površinskih osobina dispergiranog medija potrebna je prisutnost kolektora. Kao kolektori mogu se koristiti masne kiseline, sapuni, sintetički i polusintetički kolektori.

Deinking of Wastepaper -- An Overview

More than half of the wastepaper collected for recycling is printed; therefore, most of it requires deinking. The deinking process is classified into two main categories: (1) chemical deinking and (2) ultrasonic deinking. Both deinking processes, in turn, are subdivided into two systems: (a) deinking by washing and (b) deinking by flotation.
