Delay‐dependent stability and stabilization of neutral time‐delay systems

International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, 2008
AbstractThis paper is concerned with the problem of stability and stabilization of neutral time‐delay systems. A new delay‐dependent stability condition is derived in terms of linear matrix inequality by constructing a new Lyapunov functional and using some integral inequalities without introducing any free‐weighting matrices.

Delay-Dependent Stability Analysis of Modern Shipboard Microgrids

IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Regular Papers, 2021
This study proposes a new application for delay-dependent stability analysis of a shipboard microgrid system. Gain and phase margin values are taken into consideration in delay dependent stability analysis. Since such systems are prone to unwanted frequency oscillations against load disturbances and randomness of renewable resources, a virtual gain and

Delay‐dependent exponential stability for switched delay systems

Optimal Control Applications and Methods, 2008
AbstractDelay‐dependent exponential stability criteria are presented for switched systems consisting of a family of stable and unstable subsystems with interval time‐varying delay. Two cases with regard to such delay are considered: one is that time‐varying delay function is differentiable and bounded and the other is that time‐varying delay function ...

Delay-Dependent Stability Analysis in Haptic Rendering

Journal of Intelligent & Robotic Systems, 2019
Nowadays haptic devices have lots of applications in virtual reality systems. While using a haptic device, one of the main requirements is the stable behavior of the system. An unstable behavior of a haptic device may damage itself and even may hurt its operator.

Delay-Dependent Stability for Genetic Regulatory Networks

2011 IEEE International Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedicine, 2011
The study of stability is essential for designing or controlling genetic regulatory networks, which can be described by nonlinear differential equations with time delays. Much attention has been paid to the study of delay-independent stability of genetic regulatory networks and as a result, many sufficient conditions have been derived for delay ...

Delay-dependent stability of reset control systems

2007 American Control Conference, 2007
This work presents results on the stability of time-delay systems under reset control. The case of delay-dependent stability is addressed by developing a generalization of previous stability results of reset systems without delays, and also the case of delay-independent stability.

Delay Dependent Robust Stability of Reset Systems

IECON 2018 - 44th Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2018
The dynamic behavior of reset control systems can be upgraded by appropriate implementation of a reset mechanism. Lyapunov- Krasovskii theory plays an effective role in evaluating stability of reset control systems with delays. In this study, we provide a sufficient delay-dependent condition to help in the analysis of robust reset control systems.

Delay-dependent stabilization of singularly perturbed jump linear systems

International Journal of Control, 2004
This paper considers the stability and stabilization problems of continuous-time singularly perturbed Markov jump linear systems. LMI-based sufficient conditions for the system to be stochastically stable are given, and using LMI approaches, two methods for designing state feedback stabilizing controllers are also derived. Numerical examples are worked
