Robust stochastic stability [PDF]
A strategy profile of a game is called robustly stochastically stable if it is stochastically stable for a given behavioral model independently of the specification of revision opportunities and tie-breaking assumptions in the dynamics. We provide a simple radius-coradius result for robust stochastic stability and examine several applications.

An important problem related to the study of the robust stability of a linear system that presents variation in terms of an uncertain parameter consists of understanding the variation in the roots of a system’s characteristic polynomial in terms of the ...

Hybrid Prediction-Based Deadbeat Control for a High-Performance Shunt Active Power Filter
This paper proposes a hybrid current predictive deadbeat tracking control method to address the problem that a conventional deadbeat current tracking control has evolved into a deadbeat control in the digital implementation process.

Robust Learning with Implicit Residual Networks
In this effort, we propose a new deep architecture utilizing residual blocks inspired by implicit discretization schemes. As opposed to the standard feed-forward networks, the outputs of the proposed implicit residual blocks are defined as the fixed ...

The Regulator Problem with Robust Stability [PDF]
The system considered is \(\dot x= Ax+ Bu\), \(y= Cx\) where the exosubsystem \(\dot x_2= A_{22} x_2\) has its eigenvalues on the stability boundary \(\text{Re}(s)= 0\). The compensator is \(\dot z= Fz+ Gy\), \(u= Hz+ Jy\). It is supposed that \((A_{11}, B)\) is stabilizable, \((C, A)\) is detectable and that the plant zeros do not coincide with the ...

Robust stability at the Swallowtail singularity [PDF]
Consider the set of monic fourth-order real polynomials transformed so that the constant term is one. In the three-dimensional space of the coefficients describing this set, the domain of asymptotic stability is bounded by a surface with the Whitney umbrella singularity.

Robust Stability of DC Microgrid Under Distributed Control
Compared with AC microgrid, DC microgrid has attracted more and more attention due to their high reliability and simple control. In this paper, we analyze the existence and stability of equilibrium of DC microgrid under distributed control.

Robust controller design for speed regulation of a flexible wind turbine [PDF]
The complexity of large wind turbines increases due to fatigue, aerodynamics, structural flexibility and wind turbulence which lead to uncertainties in the wind turbine model. Hence, a robust controller is necessary to deal with these uncertainties.

This note is devoted to a robust stability analysis, as well as to the problem of the robust stabilization of a class of continuous-time Markovian jump linear systems subject to block-diagonal stochastic parameter perturbations. The considered parametric
