Delayed mutation in Chinese hamster cells

Somatic Cell and Molecular Genetics, 1987
The possibility was examined that mutational events can be delayed for more than one or two cell divisions following treatment of Chinese hamster cells with the DNA alkylating agent ethyl methane sulfonate. If mutations in mammalian cells are delayed, the proportion of mutant cells in colonies grown from single mutagen-treated cells will reflect the ...

Design of tunable digital delay cells

2017 IEEE Custom Integrated Circuits Conference (CICC), 2017
This work discusses design considerations for implementing widely tunable delay cells with good matching properties, low jitter, and robust communication to adjacent circuits. Previously unreported effects that result in signal-dependent delay are discussed and eliminated.

Delayed Cell Relocation in 6TiSCH Networks

2019 Eleventh International Conference on Ubiquitous and Future Networks (ICUFN), 2019
The schedule collision handle scheme based on the housekeeping has overhead because two pair of colliding nodes relocate the cells. The Delayed Cell Relocation proposed in this paper aims to relocate only one pair of nodes by setting the delay time differently by the cell allocation time, so that reduce the overhead.

Cell delay variation in an ATM multiplexer

European Transactions on Telecommunications, 1997
AbstractIn this paper Cell Delay Variation (CDV) in an ATM multiplexer is investigated in the case where a Constant Bit Rate (CBR) traffic stream is mixed with a background traffic stream that arrives in the form of independent and identically distributed batches with general batch size distribution (Batch Bernoulli process).

Timing Is Everything – Delaying Therapy for Delayed Cell Death

Developmental Neuroscience, 2002
Damage after a hypoxic-ischemic (HI) insult is both region and cell population specific [Johnston, 1998]. This observation is critically evident in, and important to, the pathogenesis of the insult in the immature central nervous system. In the term human neonate, damage to the deep grey nuclei is seen using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) modalities ...

Delayed Hypersensitivity: Bone Marrow as the Source of Cells in Delayed Skin Reactions

Science, 1967
Adult Lewis rats were thymectomized, irradiated, and restored with bone marrow from allogeneic (or F 1 ) donors. They were passively sensitized to tuberculin by a subsequent transfer of Lewis lymph node cells and were given intradermal skin tests with tuberculoprotein. In 24-hour skin reactions the majority of cells,

G 2 Cells: Progression Delay and Survival

Radiation Research, 1984
The progression of Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) G2 cells into mitosis and their survival was measured after X-ray doses up to 4.0 Gy. S-phase cells were prevented from reaching mitosis by labeling with 125IUdR for 10 min prior to irradiation of the exponentially growing monolayer of cells. Mitotic cells, located past the radiation-induced division delay

Estimating Cell Transfer Delay and Cell Delay Variation in ATM Networks: Measurement Techniques and Results

European Transactions on Telecommunications, 1999
AbstractPerformance parameters of the ATM layer related to delay are the cell transfer delay (CTD) and cell delay variation (CDV). Monitoring CTD and CDV is important for the operator of an ATM network, in order to guarantee the quality of service expected by the user.
