Impulsive control for differential systems with delay
Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, 2012This paper deals with the impulsive control for a class of differential systems with delay. Using Lyapunov functions and the comparison principle, we present some sufficient conditions for the asymptotic stability and exponential stability of impulsive control systems with delay. Moreover, we give an estimate of the upper bound of impulse interval. The

Ring models for delay-differential systems
Automatica, 1974This paper studies the algebraic structure of linear systems defined over R[λ], the ring of polynomials in λ with real coefficients. Natural definitions of controllability and observability are introduced and properties of R[λ] - transfer matrix realizations are discussed. It is shown that if (A n×n B n×m ) is a controllable R[λ]-matrix pair, then for

Asymptotic Stability in a Neutral Delay Differential System with Variable Delays
SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis, 2006The authors extend and improve existing results on the asymptotic stability of the trivial solution of the so-called ``pure delay type'' neutral system with variable delays. Their method of proof is based on M-matrix theory and some new analytic techniques.

STRONG AND WEAK RESONANCES IN DELAYED DIFFERENTIAL SYSTEMS
International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 2013In this paper, a general and systematic scheme is provided to research strong and weak resonances derived from delay-induced various double Hopf bifurcations in delayed differential systems. The method of multiple scales is extended to obtain a common complex amplitude equation when the double Hopf bifurcation with frequency ratio k1:k2occurs in the ...

On absolute stability of differential-delay systems
IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 1994Summary: A nonlinear differential-delay system with many nonlinearities is studied. A new absolute stability criterion is derived.

On stabilization of neutral stochastic differential delay systems
2015 American Control Conference (ACC), 2015In this paper the stabilization problem for a class of neutral stochastic systems with delay is investigated. The state equations are described by an Ito differential equation driven by a Wiener noise. The input generically enters both in the deterministic dynamics and in those affected by noise.

Neutral Differential Systems with Impulse and Delay
2009In this paper, we discuss a class of impulsive partial neutral functional differential inclusions with infinite delay. The existence of mild solutions of these neutral differential systems with impulse and delay is obtained by using the new nonlinear alternatives of Leray-Schauder type.

On the controllability of delay-differential systems
International Journal of Control, 1979The output controllability condition of the class of time-invariant multivariable linear delay-differential systems is investigated by using an algebraic approach. The controllability condition is given in terms of the kernel of a map, which determines the behaviour of output after time t = 0 due to input up to t = 0.

Stabilization of a Differential-Difference System of Delay Type
Differential Equations, 2023For a linear autonomous differential-difference system with commensurate delays, algorithms for constructing controllers that provide asymptotic, finite-time, or complete stabilization of this system are substantiated. A distinctive feature of the proposed approach is that it does not require a priori information about the location of the roots of the ...
