Miniaturized overlapped LC phase delay line

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2014
A novel miniaturized ultra-wide bandwidth (DC–35 GHz) LC phase delay line (PDL) based on overlapped meander inductors and air-bridge capacitors is proposed and fabricated.

Lag synchronization and scaling of chaotic attractor in coupled system [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We report a design of delay coupling for lag synchronization in two unidirectionally coupled chaotic oscillators. A delay term is introduced in the definition of the coupling to target any desired lag between the driver and the response. The stability of

Two-dimensional strain mapping in semiconductors by nano-beam electron diffraction employing a delay-line detector

open access: yes, 2015
A delay-line detector is established for electron detection in the field of scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM) and applied to two-dimensional strain mapping in Si-based field effect transistors. We initially outline the functional principle

Survivin and Aurora Kinase A control cell fate decisions during mitosis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aurora A interacts with survivin during mitosis and regulates its centromeric role. Loss of Aurora A activity mislocalises survivin, the CPC and BubR1, leading to disruption of the spindle checkpoint and triggering premature mitotic exit, which we refer to as ‘mitotic slippage’.

Dual targeting of RET and SRC synergizes in RET fusion‐positive cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Despite the strong activity of selective RET tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), resistance of RET fusion‐positive (RET+) lung cancer and thyroid cancer frequently occurs and is mainly driven by RET‐independent bypass mechanisms. Son et al. show that SRC TKIs significantly inhibit PAK and AKT survival signaling and enhance the efficacy of RET TKIs in ...

Single-Path High-Resolution Digital PWM Architectures With Cascadability of Delay Lines

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of Power Electronics
This paper introduces two new single-path and cascaded High-Resolution Digital Pulse Width Modulation (HRDPWM) architectures. The proposed single-path architecture uses fewer FPGA resources to achieve the same resolution as conventional dual-path ...

A CMOS analog continuous-time delay line with adaptive delay-time control [PDF]

open access: yes, 1988
A CMOS analog continuous-time delay line composed of cascaded first-order current-domain all-pass sections is discussed. Each all-pass section consists of CMOS transistors and a single capacitor. The operation is based on the square-law characteristic of

Methylation biomarkers can distinguish pleural mesothelioma from healthy pleura and other pleural pathologies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We developed and validated a DNA methylation–based biomarker panel to distinguish pleural mesothelioma from other pleural conditions. Using the IMPRESS technology, we translated this panel into a clinically applicable assay. The resulting two classifier models demonstrated excellent performance, achieving high AUC values and strong diagnostic accuracy.
