Study on Routing Protocols for Delay Tolerant Mobile Networks
Delay tolerant mobile networks feature with intermittent connectivity, huge transmission delay, nodal mobility, and so forth. There is usually no end-to-end path in the networks and it poses great challenges for routing in DTMNs.

Routing in hybrid Delay Tolerant Networks
Abstract Delay Tolerant Networks (DTNs) have emerged as communication paradigm for providing end-to-end communication based on store-carry-forward mechanisms without the need for costly infrastructure. However, empirical studies have shown that integrating opportunistically encountered infrastructure—e.g., Internet access via WiFi—into hybrid DTNs ...

Sol–gel‐derived ZnO–rGO hybrid nanoparticles enable Al7075 powder‐metallurgy composites to achieve concurrent gains in hardness and thermal conductivity while markedly lowering friction and wear. The hybrid architecture couples ZnO‐based load support with rGO‐assisted lamellar sliding and heat spreading, revealing a promising route toward lightweight ...

Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

Public-Transportation-Assisted Data Delivery Scheme in Vehicular Delay Tolerant Networks
As an important component of transportation system, public transportation accounts for a considerable proportion in the whole traffic flow. The public transportation vehicles can be categorized into two categories as follows: one with determinate ...

A Sociability-Based Routing Scheme for Delay-Tolerant Networks
The problem of choosing the best forwarders in Delay-Tolerant Networks (DTNs) is crucial for minimizing the delay in packet delivery and for keeping the amount of generated traffic under control.

Fountain-code Aided File Transfer in Vehicular Delay Tolerant Networks
We propose a mechanism for facilitating file transferring in Vehicular Delay Tolerant Networks. The proposed architecture includes using Fountain coding in the application layer, UDP in the transport layer and a proposed DTN routing algorithm in the ...
