The Immunology of Immediate and Delayed Hypersensitivity Reaction to Gluten
The immunology of gluten hypersensitivity and celiac disease has been pursued with significant interest in the past 20 years. For the prevention of systemic diseases, most pathogens that gain entry into our bodies must be met with an effective immune ...

Surface‐host dialogue at the implant interface governs biological fate and osseointegration. Surface physicochemical properties of titanium (Ti) dental implants, including microgrooves, nanopatterns, nanotopography, roughness, and wettability, modulate the initial adsorption of proteins and the formation of a dynamic biointerface.

Transducers convert physical signals into electrical and optical representations, yet each mechanism is bounded by intrinsic trade‐offs across bandwidth, sensitivity, speed, and energy. This review maps transduction mechanisms across physical scale and frequency, showing how heterogeneous integration and multiphysics co‐design transform isolated ...

Genomic Risk Factors Driving Immune-Mediated Delayed Drug Hypersensitivity Reactions
Adverse drug reactions (ADRs) remain associated with significant mortality. Delayed hypersensitivity reactions (DHRs) that occur greater than 6 h following drug administration are T-cell mediated with many severe DHRs now associated with human leukocyte ...

In a lumbar spine instability model, dorsal root ganglion cells mediate the perception of relevant mechanical stresses through Piezo2 and subsequently release CGRP. CGRP activates the NF‐κB signaling pathway in cartilage endplate cells through the receptor RAMP1.

Induction and in Vitro demonstration of cellular immunity to DNA and RNA viruses in guinea-pigs [PDF]
Guinea-pigs were immunized with different cells infected with vaccinia virus, herpes simplex virus type 1, herpesvirus saimiri, and the virus of vesicular stomatitis. Development of cellular immunity against these viruses was observed with transformation

Targeting the PDK1/c‐Myc/SOX10 Signaling in Oligodendrocytes Alleviates Neuropathic Pain
This work reveals that oligodendrocyte homeostasis, mediated by PDK1, is a critical determinant of neuropathic pain (NPP) pathogenesis. Disruption of PDK1 in oligodendrocytes impairs SOX10‐dependent myelination programs through c‐Myc accumulation, leading to disrupted myelination and the pathophysiology of NPP.
