Stability of Stochastic Delayed Recurrent Neural Networks

open access: yesMathematics
This paper addresses the stability of stochastic delayed recurrent neural networks (SDRNNs), identifying challenges in existing scalar methods, which suffer from strong assumptions and limited applicability.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Fixed-Time Synchronization Control of Delayed Dynamical Complex Networks

open access: yesEntropy, 2021
Fixed-time synchronization problem for delayed dynamical complex networks is explored in this paper. Compared with some correspondingly existed results, a few new results are obtained to guarantee fixed-time synchronization of delayed dynamical networks ...

Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 increases metastatic potential and aggressiveness in colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1 (ALDH1A1) is a cancer stem cell marker in several malignancies. We established a novel epithelial cell line from rectal adenocarcinoma with unique overexpression of this enzyme. Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 led to increased invasive capacity and metastatic potential, the inhibition of proliferation activity, and ultimately ...

Almost Periodic Solutions in Distribution Sense for Quaternion-Valued Stochastic Delayed Neural Networks

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
In this paper, we consider quaternion-valued stochastic delayed neural networks. We first obtain the existence of almost periodic solutions in distribution sense by employing the contraction mapping principle.

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.
