The Rotation Properties of δ Sct and γ Dor Stars
Based on the LAMOST spectroscopy and TESS time-series photometry, we have obtained a main-sequence star sample of δ Scuti and γ Doradus stars. The sample includes 1534 δ Sct stars, 367 γ Dor stars, 1703 δ Sct ∣ γ Dor stars, 270 γ Dor ∣ δ Sct stars, along

We present a navigation concept for solving the lost in space and time problem using optical observations of $δ$ Scuti variable stars. Only a small number of techniques exist that allow a spacecraft to recover from being lost in both space and time, which can be caused by a failure of the onboard clock and navigation systems. Optical observations of $δ$

Discovery and Characterization of Three New High-amplitude δ Scuti Stars from TESS Observations
We report the discovery and detailed analysis of three new high-amplitude δ Scuti (HADS) stars, TIC 408074920, TIC 189714989, and TIC 34137913, identified from Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite short-cadence observations.

Monoperiodic $\delta$ Scuti star UY Cam: an analogue of SX Phe and RR Lyr-type variables
We present the results of a four-year photometric study of the high-amplitude $\delta$ Scuti star (HADS) UY Camelopardalis. Analyses on the available data from 1985 to 2003 show that UY Cam is monoperiodic. Fourier solutions for individual data sets do not reveal period changes in the star. Although forced parabolic fits to the $O-C$ residuals indicate

Multimode δ Sct stars from the Zwicky Transient Facility Survey
We obtain the largest catalog of multimode δ Sct stars in the northern sky to date using the Zwicky Transient Facility (ZTF) Data Release 20. The catalog includes 2254 objects, of which 2181 are new to our study.

Stellar Variability toward the Galactic Open Cluster NGC 7209
We present the analysis of stellar variability in an open cluster NGC 7209 using optical V -band CCD photometric observations. Out of 4499 stars in our study, we detected 284 candidate variables, including one identified previously.

Tidally Distorted Stars Are Triaxial Pulsators
Stars in close binaries are tidally distorted, and this has a strong effect on their pulsation modes. We compute the mode frequencies and geometries of tidally distorted stars using perturbation theory, accounting for the effects of the Coriolis force ...

HIP 65426 hosts a young giant planet that has become the first exoplanet directly imaged with JWST. Using time-series photometry from the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS), we classify HIP 65426 as a high-frequency δ Scuti pulsator with a ...
