Permethrin and deltamethrin residues on lettuce

Pesticide Science, 1982
AbstractPermethrin and deltamethrin, two synthetic pyrethroid insecticides, are registered in several countries for use on lettuce. Both chemicals were applied on autumn and spring grown lettuce in the glasshouse. When applied at the normal prescribed dose rates of 25 and 12.5 g a.i.

Inactivation of deltamethrin on stored wheat

Pesticide Science, 1982
AbstractResidues of deltamethrin on wheat grain of 12% moisture content, stored in the laboratory at 25°C, remained constant within experimental error over a 15‐month interval. However, the biological activity of the residues against Sitophilus oryzae (L.) declined to 78% of the initial value at 3 months, and to 65% at 15 months after application ...

Toxicological studies of deltamethrin.

International journal of tissue reactions, 1984
Deltamethrin [( S]-alpha-cyano-3-phenoxybenzyl-cis-(1R,3R)-3-(2,2-dibromovinyl+ ++) (2,2-dimethyl-cyclopropane-carboxylate], is the most potent insecticide known at the present time. But it is also one of the most toxic pyrethroids for vertebrates.

Chemical and photochemical isomerization of deltamethrin

Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, 1990
Chiral high-performance liquid chromatographic analyses have shown that deltamethrin [(S)-α-cyano-3-phenoxybenzyl(1R,3R)-cis-2,2-dimethyl-3-(2,2-dibromovinyl)cyclopropanecarboxylate] in natural water in the dark is subject to cis/trans isomerization yielding the α-S, 1S cis isomer 2'-deltamethrin, which is inactive against mice and insects.

Metabolism of deltamethrin in rats.

Biomedical and environmental sciences : BES, 2007
To study the metabolism of 14C-deltamethrin in rats.Rats were dosed orally and i.p. with a single dose of 14C-deltamethrin (0.64 mg/Kg) body weight. The required dose was applied daily for 3 days. At the end of the experiment, selected organs, such as liver, kidney, fat, intestine, and blood were excised for radioassay of 14C-content.Deltamethrin was ...
