OPTIMIZATION OF TIMES OF MAGNETIZATION AND DEMAGNECTION OF STOPPED FREQUENCY-REGULATED SYNCHRONOUS MOTORS

open access: yesElektrotehnìka ta Elektroenergetika, 2019
Purpose. Obtaining analytical calculated dependencies for finding the optimal time of magnetization and demagnetization of stopped frequency-regulated synchronous motors and the corresponding minimum energy loss in these motors for the regimes of ...

Demagnetization Fault Diagnosis of a PMSM Using Auto-Encoder and K-Means Clustering

open access: yesEnergies, 2020
In recent years, many motor fault diagnosis methods have been proposed by analyzing vibration, sound, electrical signals, etc. To detect motor fault without additional sensors, in this study, we developed a fault diagnosis methodology using the signals ...

Irreversible Demagnetization Improvement Process of Hybrid Traction Motors with Dy-Free Magnets

open access: yesMachines, 2022
Permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs), with their high power density, high efficiency, and thermal stability, are widely used nowadays. PMSM magnets are composed of rare earth elements.

The efficiency and the demagnetization field of a general Halbach cylinder [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
The maximum magnetic efficiency of a general multipole Halbach cylinder of order $p$ is found as function of $p$. The efficiency is shown to decrease for increasing absolute value of $p$. The optimal ratio between the inner and outer radius, i.e.

Multi-Objective Optimization of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor for Electric Vehicle Considering Demagnetization

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2021
The irreversible demagnetization of permanent magnets causes the deterioration of the performance in permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs), which are used for electric vehicles.

Indirect excitation of ultrafast demagnetization [PDF]

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2016
AbstractDoes the excitation of ultrafast magnetization require direct interaction between the photons of the optical pump pulse and the magnetic layer? Here, we demonstrate unambiguously that this is not the case. For this we have studied the magnetization dynamics of a ferromagnetic cobalt/palladium multilayer capped by an IR-opaque aluminum layer ...

Ab initio investigation of Elliott-Yafet electron-phonon mechanism in laser-induced ultrafast demagnetization

open access: yes, 2011
The spin-flip (SF) Eliashberg function is calculated from first-principles for ferromagnetic Ni to accurately establish the contribution of Elliott-Yafet electron-phonon SF scattering to Ni's femtosecond laser-driven demagnetization.

Femtosecond Demagnetization and Hot Hole Relaxation in Ferromagnetic GaMnAs

open access: yes, 2008
We have studied ultrafast photoinduced demagnetization in GaMnAs via two-color time-resolved magneto-optical Kerr spectroscopy. Below-bandgap midinfrared pump pulses strongly excite the valence band, while near-infrared probe pulses reveal sub-picosecond

Ultrafast demagnetization at high temperatures [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Condensed Matter, 2018
Time-resolved pump-probe measurements were made at variable heat accumulation in Co/Pd superlattices. Heat accumulation increases the baseline temperature and decreases the equilibrium magnetization. Transient ultrafast demagnetization first develops with higher fluence in parallel with strong equilibrium thermal spin fluctuations.

Rapid, Precise, and High-Sensitivity Acquisition of Paleomagnetic and Rock-Magnetic Data: Development of a Low-Noise Automatic Sample Changing System for Superconducting Rock Magnetometers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Among Earth sciences, paleomagnetism is particularly linked to the statistics of large sample sets as a matter of historical development and logistical necessity.
