Demagnetizing field-induced magnetocaloric effect in Gd [PDF]
We have studied the impact of demagnetizing fields on the magnetocaloric effect of commercial-grade gadolinium plates. Adiabatic temperature changes (ΔT) were measured for magnetic fields applied along the parallel and perpendicular directions of the plates.

Magnetic field model of radially magnetized cylindrical permanent magnets in a self-biased magnetic pendulum array [PDF]
Self-Biased Magnetic Pendulum Array (SBMPA) is an efficient and portable transmitter in ultralow frequency (ULF). The resonance frequency of SBMPA is affected by the magnetic field of the radially magnetized cylindrical permanent magnets.

Spin-wave mode coupling in the presence of the demagnetizing field in cobalt-permalloy magnonic crystals [PDF]
We present the results of studies on the non-uniform frequency shift of spin wave spectrum in a two-dimensional magnonic crystal of cobalt/permalloy under the influence of external magnetic field changes.

The demagnetizing field of a nonuniform rectangular prism [PDF]
The effect of demagnetization on the magnetic properties of a rectangular ferromagnetic prism under nonuniform conditions is investigated. A numerical model for solving the spatially varying internal magnetic field is developed, validated, and applied to relevant cases.

Mechanism of Anomalous Anisotropic Colossal Magnetoresistance in Quasi‐2D Mn3Si2Te6 Bulk Single Crystal [PDF]
Mn3Si2Te6, quasi‐2D ferrimagnetic semiconductor, exhibits anomalous saturated colossal magnetoresistance (CMR) only when a magnetic field is applied along its magnetic hard magnetization axis, suggesting unconventional underlying physics and promising ...

Demagnetizing fields in all-optical switching [PDF]
Time-resolved pump-probe measurements show ultrafast and heat accumulation demagnetization in Co/Pd superlattices on glass substrates. A model of demagnetizing fields and micromagnetic simulations are applied to examine the evolution of a demagnetized cylinder into a switched state.
