In Vitro Activities of Ravuconazole and Isavuconazole against Dematiaceous Fungi. [PDF]
The in vitro activities of 11 antifungals against 84 dematiaceous fungi were tested. For most tested fungal species, the MIC values of ravuconazole and isavuconazole were lower than those obtained with itraconazole, voriconazole, and posaconazole.

Ocular infections with dematiaceous fungi in two cats and a dog [PDF]
Clinical signs and histologic findings associated with dematiaceous fungal infections of the ocular tissues can be variable. Dematiaceous fungi should be considered in the differential diagnoses list of exogenous causes of ocular infections, such as endophthalmitis, orbital cellulitis, and keratitis.

Neurotropism of pathogenic dematiaceous fungi in mice.

Dematiaceous Fungi Are an Increasing Cause of Human Disease [PDF]
The dematiaceous fungi appear to be an increasing cause of human disease. At The Methodist Hospital, in Houston, Texas, five cases of serious disease caused by these fungi occurred between 1987 and 1992. Cerebral abscesses with Xylohypha bantiana followed treatment for lymphoma.
