Wavelength Demultiplexer using Heterostructure Ring Resonators in Triangular Photonic Crystals

open access: yes, 2013
In this paper a new type of wavelength demultiplexer using ring resonators in 2D triangular photonic crystal is presented. The designed demultiplexer contents two regions which each own a resonator. Two dielectric constants are used in this demultiplexer.

Fabrication-constrained nanophotonic inverse design

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2017
A major difficulty in applying computational design methods to nanophotonic devices is ensuring that the resulting designs are fabricable. Here, we describe a general inverse design algorithm for nanophotonic devices that directly incorporates ...

100-Gbit/s operation of an all-optical demultiplexer

open access: yes, 1994
Recently, an all optical demultiplexer especially applicable to optical time division multiplexed (OTDM) systems has been demonstrated, as well as its operation in a laboratory OTDM system with an aggregate bandwidth of 50 Gbit/s.
