Tunable High Performance 16-Channel Demultiplexer on 2D Photonic Crystal Ring Resonator Operating at Telecom Wavelengths

open access: yesJournal of Optical Communications, 2018
Here, we proposed a high performance 16-channel optical demultiplexer using two-dimensional photonic crystal ring resonator for telecommunication systems.

A Simple Unimolecular Multiplexer/Demultiplexer

Angewandte Chemie International Edition, 2008
Here we show that the reversible acid/base switching of the absorption and photoluminescence properties of a fluorophore as simple as 8-methoxyquinoline in solution can form the basis for molecular 2:1 multiplexing and 1:2 demultiplexing with a clear-cut digital response.

OFDM with biorthogonal demultiplexing

2000 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing. Proceedings (Cat. No.00CH37100), 2002
In this paper we study biorthogonal schemes for frequency division multiplexing. These are schemes which use one given set of orthogonal waveforms for frequency division multiplexing at the transmitter, and a different set of waveforms, which is orthogonal to the multiplexing waveforms, for demultiplexing at the receiver.

Demultiplexing Considerations for Statistical Multiplexors

IEEE Transactions on Communications, 1971
Demultiplexing serves as an important function for statistical multiplexors. Its purpose is to reassemble the received message and distribute it to the appropriate destination. The demultiplexing buffer can be modeled as a finite waiting room queuing model with batch Poisson arrivals and multiple distinct constant servers.

Enzyme-Based Multiplexer and Demultiplexer

The Journal of Physical Chemistry B, 2010
A digital 2-to-1 multiplexer and a 1-to-2 demultiplexer were mimicked by biocatalytic reactions involving concerted operation of several enzymes. Using glucose oxidase (GOx) and laccase (Lac) as the data input signals and variable pH as the addressing signal, ferrocyanide oxidation in the output channel was selectively activated by one from two inputs,

Multiplexer and Demultiplexer

2013
In this chapter components for building decision maker circuits are introduced. The reader will be guided through the design of multiplexer components in VHDL using only logical gates (i.e., structural level), and also in a higher level of abstraction using when/else statements (i.e., behavioral level). As a case study the hierarchical design described
