Evidence Fusion Method for Fault Diagnosis Based on Optimal Coordination and Iteration Correction

open access: yesMathematics
In fault diagnosis, multi-source information fusion (MSIF) is usually more reliable than single-source information, and Dempster–Shafer (D-S) evidence theory provides a universal and popular decision-level fusion framework for MSIF.

A Blood‐Derived Factor Rescues ALS: Platelet Factor 4 Activates OPTN‐Dependent Autophagy to Clear SOD1 Aggregates Independently of PINK1

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Systemic platelet factor 4 (PF4) is significantly depleted in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Peripheral PF4 replenishment restores central proteostasis by driving OPTN‐dependent, PINK1‐independent selective autophagy in motor neurons. This intervention effectively clears toxic SOD1 aggregates, blunts glial activation, and preserves neuromuscular ...

YAP1‐Driven Pathogenic Fibro‐Adipogenic Progenitors Secrete IL‐6 and FGF21 to Mediate Muscle‐Bone Crosstalk and Promote Bone Loss

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Fibro‐adipogenic progenitors (FAPs) in atrophic muscle undergo YAP1‐driven pathogenic activation, secreting IL‐6 and FGF21 as bone‐catabolic myokines that mediate muscle‐bone crosstalk and promote bone loss. Genetic or pharmacological targeting of this YAP1‐FAP‐myokine axis rescues skeletal deterioration, identifying FAP‐derived myokines as therapeutic

Phonon‐Driven Tetrahedral Tilts Enable Ultralow Bulk Thermal Expansion and Interstitial Oxide‐Ion Migration in Phenacite Solid Electrolytes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates a design paradigm of phonon‐driven negative‐thermal‐expansion (NTE) flexible framework that exploits the intrinsic lattice flexibility of NTE frameworks to simultaneously suppress thermal expansion and activate oxide‐ion conduction, offering a promising strategy to mitigate TEC mismatch in solid‐state ionic devices.

Intelligent evaluation of coal mine solid filling effect using fuzzy logic and improved D-S evidence theory

open access: yesScientific Reports
Addressing the inherent fuzziness and uncertainty in filling outcomes, this paper proposes a novel method for evaluating the effectiveness of solid filling operations in coal mines by integrating Interval Type-2 Fuzzy Logic Systems (IT2FLS) with an ...

Hybrid Machine Learning-Based Fault-Tolerant Sensor Data Fusion and Anomaly Detection for Fire Risk Mitigation in IIoT Environment

open access: yesSensors
In the oil and gas IIoT environment, fire detection systems heavily depend on fire sensor data, which can be prone to inaccuracies due to faulty or unreliable sensors. These sensor issues, such as noise, missing values, outliers, sensor drift, and faulty

Ahcy Acts as an Effector of Hnf4a‐Driven Super‐Enhancer Activation to Alleviate MASLD During Intermittent Fasting

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Our study identifies an Hnf4a‐driven super‐enhancer of hepatic Ahcy that mediates the protective effects of intermittent fasting against MASLD. Disruption of the Ahcy super‐enhancer reduces Ahcy expression and exacerbates lipid accumulation. This pathway prevents aberrant promoter hypermethylation by maintaining the SAM/SAH balance, as exemplified by ...

Targeting Tex10 Overcomes Oxaliplatin Resistance by Competitively Disrupting the Non‐Canonical BAF Complex in Colorectal Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals that Tex10 drives oxaliplatin resistance in colorectal cancer by competitively binding BRD9 to disrupt the ncBAF complex, thereby suppressing AMBRA1 transcription and ULK1‐mediated autophagy. Gemcitabine is identified as a direct Tex10 inhibitor that restores autophagy and overcomes resistance.

Continuous Evolution System Based on Toxin–Antitoxin System Combined with Base Deaminase Accelerates the In Vivo Modification of Target Proteins

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The promoted Escherichia coli‐assisted continuous evolution (PEACE) system operates through a stringent three step genetic circuit: target gene mutation via a deaminase–T7 RNA polymerase (T7 RNAP) fusion, coupling variant function to antitoxin expression, and growth based selection of surviving cells.
