Diagnostic Accuracy of MR Mammography in Comparison with Digital Mammography and Sonomammography
Background. Even though the sensitivity of contrast-enhanced breast magnetic resonance mammography (CE-MRM) is consistently high in the range of 94-100%, conventionally, digital mammography and sonomammography continue as standard imaging modalities for ...

Automated Breast Ultrasound Screening for Dense Breasts [PDF]
Mammography is the primary screening method for breast cancers. However, the sensitivity of mammographic screening is lower for dense breasts, which are an independent risk factor for breast cancers. Automated breast ultrasound (ABUS) is used as an adjunct to mammography for screening breast cancers in asymptomatic women with dense breasts.

Breast density does not impact the ability of Videssa® Breast to detect breast cancer in women under age 50. [PDF]
Breast density is associated with reduced imaging resolution in the detection of breast cancer. A biochemical approach that is not affected by density would provide an important tool to healthcare professionals who are managing women with dense breasts ...
