Abstract Two sediment cores were collected from a submarine sediment wave field on the flank of Macauley volcano. Combined with seismic reflection surveys and numerical modeling, we present an integrated model of the formation of large‐scale, eruption‐fed, submarine sediment waves. The sediment waves are large (>100 m high, 1.5 km wide, tens of km long)

Impact of Density Gradients and Momentum Ratios on Streamwise Circulation at River Confluences
Abstract Mixing processes in confluences influence concentrations of water quality parameters such as suspended sediment loads and water chemistry in the post‐confluent reach. Thus, improving our understanding of confluence flow structures and mixing is key to predicting the impact of the downstream propagation of pollutants and nutrients.

ABSTRACT Background Papillary urothelial carcinoma (transitional cell carcinoma) is one of the most common malignant tumors of the urinary tract. Urothelial carcinomas are classified into muscle‐invasive and non‐muscle‐invasive types. Among the latter, papillary urothelial carcinoma is further categorized into low‐grade and high‐grade forms.

Abstract Turbidites have been widely studied as indicators of the occurrences and magnitudes of paleo‐tsunamis and paleo‐earthquakes. Inversion to estimate flow conditions from turbidites offers valuable insights into the magnitudes of paleo‐seismic and tsunami events.

Tetrapentylammonium forms a stable complex with c‐MYC G‐quadruplex, in which the ligand is positioned above the terminal G9‐G13‐G18‐G22 quartet of the host structure and is surrounded by the 3'‐(T23‐A24‐A25) flanking region. The binding proceeds with the release of waters of hydration and a slight decrease in the dynamics of the G‐quadruplex.

MUMOTT: a Python package for the analysis of multi‐modal tensor tomography data
The MUMOTT Python package facilitates the analysis of small‐ and wide‐angle X‐ray scattering tensor tomography data, using CPU and GPU acceleration to simplify complex computational tasks. Designed for ease of use, extensibility and efficiency, MUMOTT aims to lower barriers to adopting tensor tomography methods within the wider research community.Small‐

Abstract Bubble‐plumes are commonly used in lake restoration to alleviate problems associated with hypolimnetic hypoxia. In lakes with multiple basins separated by sills, bubble‐plumes have been used locally to boost oxygen levels in individual basins. However, they have the potential to affect inter‐basin exchange leading to unexpected results.

Evolution of Erosion and Deposition Induced by an Impinging Jet to Manage Sediment
Abstract Dams are important water infrastructure whose main purposes can be compromised by sedimentation. This causes loss of storage volume, affecting river sediment fluxes and morphology. However, sediment management strategies can be implemented to reduce these impacts.
