The density in the density of states method [PDF]
It has been suggested that for QCD at finite baryon density the distribution of the phase angle, i.e. the angle defined as the imaginary part of the logarithm of the fermion determinant, has a simple Gaussian form.

Density of Zariski density for surface groups [PDF]
We show that a surface group contained in a reductive real algebraic group can be deformed to become Zariski dense, unless its Zariski closure acts transitively on a Hermitian symmetric space of tube type.

DENSITY-LIKE AND GENERALIZED DENSITY IDEALS [PDF]
AbstractWe show that there exist uncountably many (tall and nontall) pairwise nonisomorphic density-like ideals on $\omega $ which are not generalized density ideals. In addition, they are nonpathological. This answers a question posed by Borodulin-Nadzieja et al. in [this Journal, vol. 80 (2015), pp. 1268–1289].

We propose a new family of density function that posses both flexibility and closed form expressions for moments and anti-derivatives, making them particularly appealing for applications. We illustrate its usefulness by applying our new family to obtain density forecasts of U.S. inflation. Our methods generate forecasts that improve on standard methods

In this study, a density-on-density regression model is introduced, where the association between densities is elucidated via a warping function. The proposed model has the advantage of a being straightforward demonstration of how one density transforms into another.

Current densities in density-functional theory [PDF]
It is well known that any given density rho(x)can be realized by a determinantal wave function for N particles. The question addressed here is whether any given density rho(x) and current density j(x) can be simultaneously realized by a (finite kinetic energy) determinantal wave function.

A correlation-energy formula due to Colle and Salvetti [Theor. Chim. Acta 37, 329 (1975)], in which the correlation energy density is expressed in terms of the electron density and a Laplacian of the second-order Hartree-Fock density matrix, is restated ...

This contribution seeks to provide a rational probabilistic explanation for the intelligibility of words in a genetically related language that is unknown to the reader, a phenomenon referred to as intercomprehension.
