Physical Review Letters, 1992In tachyon-free string theories the ratio of the densities of bosonic and fermionic states must approach unity with increasing energy. This observation of Kutasov and Seiberg is considered in the context of a potential stringy description of the hadron spectrum.

Density matrix tomography of singlet states
Journal of Magnetic Resonance, 2010First direct and quantitative study of singlet states using density matrix tomography is reported. A robust scheme for the tomography of a general density matrix of two spin 1/2 nuclei is introduced for this purpose. The study is carried out at different spin-lock conditions and the results are compared.

Ferromagnetic stability and density of states
Physical Review B, 1993We discuss a simple criterion to recognize the possible appearance of ferromagnetism within the scope of the Stoner model. This criterion is based just on the features of the paramagnetic density of states and helps to understand magnetic phase diagrams and to predict ferromagnetic behavior.

Density of states of quasi-one-dimensional charge-density and spin-density waves
Physical Review B, 1989Making use of the quasi-two-dimensional model of charge-density waves, we analyze the electron density of states of ${\mathrm{NbSe}}_{3}$ observed by the electron tunneling technique. The model provides excellent description of both the observed density of states and the temperature dependence of the energy gap.

Density of states for complex molecules
Physical Review A, 1994A framework is presented to compute absolute thermodynamic properties of complex molecules which are described algebraically. Using some basic properties of the algebraic formalism, it is pointed out that one can compute not only ensemble averages, but the absolute thermal quantities such as the density of states and partition function.
