A Technique for Characterizing Casting Behavior of Dental Alloys
Journal of Dental Research, 1985A technique for characterizing casting behavior of dental alloys has been developed and tested. The method employs easily reproducible specimen patterns and uses equipment and procedures generally available in dental prosthetic laboratories. A castability value is arrived at by counting complete segments of a cast alloy grid.

A cast-free approach to fabricating an implant-supported interim restoration: A dental technique
The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, 2023A cast-free approach is described to fabricate an implant-supported interim restoration by using the postoperative cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) scan to locate the placed implant. A postoperative intraoral scan was aligned to the postoperative CBCT scan through a dental implant planning software program.

The holodent system, a new technique for measurement and storage of dental casts
American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, 1992A system for producing holograms and for three-dimensional measuring on holograms is described. The precision of the system was evaluated when three-dimensional measurements were made on (1) a holographic image superimposed on the corresponding object and (2) two superimposed holographic images of the same object.
