The effects of casting techniques on the mechanical properties of a dental cobalt-chromium alloy

Tensile test pieces were cast by four selected sprueing techniques and studied for density and tensile properties. One of the sprueing systems referred to as horizontal twin feed produced the most consistent and the highest values for mechanical properties.
