Rapid Fabrication of Self‐Propelled and Steerable Magnetic Microcatheters for Precision Medicine
A rapid Joule heating fabrication method for the production of self‐propelling, adaptive microcatheters, with tunable stiffness and integrated microfluidic channels is presented. Demonstrated through three microrobotic designs, including a steerable guiding catheter, an untethered wave‐crawling TubeBot, and a distal‐end propelled microcatheter, it was ...

Template assisted surface micro microstructuring of flowable dental composites and its effect on the microbial adhesion properties [PDF]
Despite their various advantages, such as good esthetic properties, absence of mercury and adhesive bonding to teeth, modern dental composites still have some drawbacks, e.g., a relatively high rate of secondary caries on teeth filled with composite ...

Enterococcus faecalis Hydrolyzes Dental Resin Composites and Adhesives [PDF]
After root canal treatment, the dentin-sealer interface undergoes degradation, allowing for interfacial microbial biofilm proliferation and treatment failure. Saliva and cariogenic bacteria showed esterase-like activities (ie, cholesterol esterase [CE]-like and/or pseudocholinesterase [PCE]-like) that degrade methacrylate-based resin materials and/or ...

Crack Repair in Hydroxyapatite Bioceramics Using an Ultraviolet Ultrafast Laser
The study proposes an ultrafast ultraviolet laser approach to repair hidden tooth cracks, which has been preliminarily validated on HAP. Moreover, this technique aims to strengthen the native enamel structure rather than introducing a foreign filling material.

Magnetically Actuated Drops‐on‐Stilts Microrobots for Transport and Delivery of Hydrophobic Cargo
Iron oxide nanoparticles and oil droplets in external magnetic fields form “drops‐on‐stilts” microrobots that transport hydrophobic cargo. Tunable nanoparticle–droplet interactions generate stilt‐like structures. Field rotation enables walking, obstacle navigation, and collective motion.
