Perception by Osseointegrated Dental Implants Supporting a Fixed Prosthesis: A Prospective Study
The International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Implants, 2017Osseointegrated implants have been shown to transmit a certain sensibility termed as osseoperception. The purpose of this study was to determine the perception by implants over a period of 6 months after loading in comparison to the natural dentition.Twenty subjects (ages 40 to 50 years) were included in this split-mouth clinical trial.
