Collision Free Design of Dental Prosthesis

This research project presents the construction of a Dental Virtual Articulator that permits the design of collision-free geometry on dental prostheses. Thanks to this articulator kinematic analysis can be taken into account in the design of dental prostheses. This is an improvement of the utmost importance in this field.

This article will present the development of a low-cost CNC milling machine for manufacturing dental prostheses. In this study it was proposed the development of a CNC milling machine using parts made on a 3D printer, through the study of various printing parameters to deliver resistant and durable parts, reducing their final production cost.

A positioning template for an interim implant-supported prosthesis using an existing surgical guide design: A dental technique

Immediate loading protocols enhance implant-supported prostheses by improving function, esthetics, and overall efficiency during the healing phase. Although achieving an accurate pickup of the interim prosthesis can present clinical challenges, it can be facilitated by using a positioning template.
