This study demonstrates that Biodentine XP exhibits superior cytocompatibility, promotes odontogenic differentiation, and enhances mineralization in human dental pulp stem cells, supporting its use in regenerative endodontics. Resin‐modified materials showed lower bioactivity, highlighting the importance of material composition in pulp therapy outcomes.

Reduced Dietary Protein Induces Changes in the Dental Proteome
Low dietary protein (10%) from normal (20%) does change protein expression in tooth proteome and alter developmental pathways. Among the significant protein expressions changes are actin‐based myosins, tooth, and bone development proteins. Perplexingly tooth size is not altered, suggesting more nuanced phenotypic response to low dietary protein in ...

Abstract Background This first‐in‐human clinical study aimed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of a bioglass incorporated in a toothpaste, in reducing dentin hypersensitivity (DH) compared to a sodium fluoride (NaF) toothpaste over a 2‐week period. Methods A double‐blind, randomized, parallel‐arm, proof‐of‐concept clinical trial was conducted with 46

Abstract Background Alveolar bone loss challenges tooth retention and implant placement. Freeze‐dried bone allograft (FDBA) is widely used for alveolar ridge preservation but has limitations in resorption rate and healing time. In this proof‐of‐concept study, we tested whether pro‐mineralization enzyme, tissue‐nonspecific alkaline phosphatase (TNAP ...

Abstract Background This study investigates the impact of disruptions in testosterone levels on bone remodeling, root resorption, and periodontal ligament (PDL) during orthodontic tooth movement (OTM) in a pubertal male rat model. Methods Testosterone deficiency was induced through orchiectomy, and the anabolic‐androgenic steroid (AAS, testosterone ...

Regenerative Potential of Dental Pulp
AbstractThe regenerative potential of dental pulp, particularly in mature teeth, has been considered extremely limited. However, our improved understanding of pulpal inflammation and repair and improved dental materials and technologies make vital pulp therapy a viable alternative to root canal treatment.
