Cigarette smoke accelerates the aging of immune cells in the lung. By combining human single‐cell sequencing, cell culture, and mouse models, the authors show that the protein GEM drives mitochondrial damage and senescence in alveolar macrophages by suppressing SIRT3.

Mandibular lateral incisor-canine transposition, concomitant dental anomalies, and genetic control.
Mandibular lateral incisor-canine (Mn.I2.C) transposition is a rare developmental disturbance of tooth order characterized by positional interchange of the two teeth. In children with Mn.I2.C anomaly, the mandibular lateral incisor shows distal ectopic eruption and the adjacent canine subsequently erupts mesial to it.

Temporal Interference Stimulation Enhances Neural Regeneration
Temporal interference (TI) stimulation is proposed as a non‐invasive approach to enhance neural regeneration in the deep brain. Theta‐band TI modulation selectively promotes neural progenitor cell differentiation in vitro and augments hippocampal neurogenesis in amouse model of Alzheimer's disease‐like amyloidosis.

We investigate whether Montessori and traditional schooling systems shape the developmental trajectory of large‐scale brain dynamics in different ways. We quantify the arrow of time (“non‐reversibility”) in neural activity during resting state and movie‐watching, revealing distinct maturational patterns.

Friend, Not Foe: Lowered Tissue Reactivity to Long‐Term Polyimide Implants
The choice of optimal neural probe designs remains a major challenge in the field of neurotechnology. This study investigated the biocompatibility of several probe variations, including material, thickness, width, and implantation strategy. It highlights the clear advantage of soft polyimide probes over stiff silicon probes for better device ...

Orthodontic Treatment of a Bilateral Mandibular Lateral Incisor-Canine Transposition
Transposition is a form of ectopia, in which two adjacent teeth change positions in the dental arch. It can be partial or complete. Transpositions are a challenge to orthodontics, especially if treatment aims to correct the order of the teeth. The aim of
