Paucity of Nanolayering in Resin-Dentin Interfaces of MDP-based Adhesives
Self-assembled nanolayering structures have been reported in resin-dentin interfaces created by adhesives that contain 10-methacryloyloxydecyl dihydrogen phosphate (10-MDP). These structures have been hypothesized to contribute to bond durability.

Abstract This article reviews the pathological changes in the enamel of permanent mandibular cheek teeth and their sequelae in European roe deer from regions polluted by anthropogenic fluoride emissions. The primary (developmental) changes of fluorotic roe deer enamel are hypomineralization and microstructural aberrations, including enamel hypoplasia ...

In clinical dentistry, since fracture is a major cause of tooth loss, better understanding of mechanical properties of teeth structures is important. Dentin, the major hard tissue of teeth, has similar composition to bone.

Restoration of human tooth enamel
Human tooth enamel has remarkable properties but lacks self‐repair ability. Existing restorative materials cannot fully replicate enamel's microstructure and function, resulting in low restorative efficiency. This review summarizes the formation process and characteristics of enamel, and current restorative materials and future research directions are ...

Abstract Background This study presents the diagnois, management, and tissue response to an acute periodontal lesion with deep pocketing affecting a maxillary central incisor in a young patient devoid of caries or a history of periodontitis. Methods Clinical and radiographic examinations facilitated the diagnosis of the pathology as an endoperiodontal ...

Topical application of lithium chloride on the pulp induces dentin regeneration. [PDF]
We herein describe a novel procedure for dentin regeneration that mimics the biological processes of tooth development in nature. The canonical Wnt signaling pathway is an important regulator of the Dentin sialophosphoprotein (Dspp) expression.

Dentin bonding: can we make it last?
In dentin bonding, contemporary dental adhesive systems rely on formation of the hybrid layer, a biocomposite containing dentin collagen and polymerized resin adhesive.

Three‐ to 4‐year follow‐up of the reverse palatal pedicle graft for maxillary palatal recessions
Abstract Background This study evaluates the long‐term stability and clinical outcomes of the reverse palatal pedicle graft (RPPG) technique in treating maxillary molar palatal recessions over a 3 to 4‐year follow‐up period. Methods Three patients with palatal recession defects on maxillary molars were treated using the RPPG technique.
