Two-unit cantilevered resin-bonded fixed partial dentures (RBFPDs) offer long-term retention for anterior and premolar-sized spans. At this center, molar and longer spans have been restored with fixed-movable (FM) RBFPDs to overcome the lower retention rates of fixed-fixed RBFPDs.
