Polysilane‐Supported Nickel as an Efficient Catalyst for the Hydrogenation of Aromatic Compounds†

A Ni/Si catalyst obtained from the reaction of poly(monohydro)silane with Ni(cod)2 serves as an effective heterogeneous catalyst for the hydrogenation of arenes under reaction conditions that are significantly milder than those required for conventional nickel‐based catalysts such as Raney nickel.

A General Strategy for the Synthesis of Jerangolids Enabled by π‐allyl Stille Coupling

A general strategy for the synthesis of jerangolids is established, featuring a late‐stage π‐allyl Stille coupling of two advanced, highly customizable building blocks to form the skipped diene core.
