YTHDF3 Mediates the Occurrence and Development of Breast Cancer by Regulating Glycolysis Through the mTOR–HIF1α–LHDA Axis

open access: yesJournal of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, Volume 30, Issue 9, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Breast cancer, a malignant tumour that frightens women, ruthlessly claims the lives of tens of thousands of women around the world every year. However, the mechanism by which YTHDF3 regulates the occurrence and development of breast cancer is still imperfect.

Yersinia enterocolitica O:3 Outer Membrane Vesicles as a Platform for Complement Activation

open access: yesJournal of Extracellular Vesicles, Volume 15, Issue 4, April 2026.
Basic characteristics and biological activity of outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) secreted by Yersinia enterocolitica O:3 (YeO3), depending on LPS chemotype and growth temperature. ABSTRACT Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) is the major component of the outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) of Gram‐negative bacteria.

Weight loss and metabolic improvements dominate the microbiome response in the MIND diet intervention: a randomized controlled trial

open access: yesAlzheimer's &Dementia: Translational Research &Clinical Interventions, Volume 12, Issue 2, April/June 2026.
Abstract INTRODUCTION Observational studies link the MIND diet to reduced risk of Alzheimer's disease (AD) and slower cognitive decline. However, a recent randomized controlled trial found no differential cognitive benefit of the MIND diet over a control diet in the context of shared caloric restriction.

Tweaks and Keys for Block Ciphers: the TWEAKEY Framework [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
We propose the TWEAKEY framework with goal to unify the design of tweakable block ciphers and of block ciphers resistant to related-key attacks. Our framework is simple, extends the key-alternating construction, and allows to build a primitive with ...

Toward a Fully Secure Authenticated Encryption Scheme From a Pseudorandom Permutation (Full Version) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
In this paper, we propose a new block cipher-based authenticated encryption scheme, dubbed the Synthetic Counter with Masking~(SCM) mode. SCM follows the NSIV paradigm proposed by Peyrin and Seurin~(CRYPTO 2016), where a keyed hash function accepts a ...

Sex Differences in Durability Following Heavy Intensity Cycling Exercise in Trained Athletes

open access: yesScandinavian Journal of Medicine &Science in Sports, Volume 36, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT The ability to withstand impairments in key physiological variables during prolonged exercise, known as “durability,” is emerging as an important factor in cycling performance. While females possess physiological characteristics that could confer enhanced durability relative to males, little is known about potential sex differences.

Finding the Impossible: Automated Search for Full Impossible-Differential, Zero-Correlation, and Integral Attacks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
Impossible differential (ID), zero-correlation (ZC), and integral attacks are a family of important attacks on block ciphers. For example, the impossible differential attack was the first cryptanalytic attack on 7 rounds of AES.

Safety evaluation of a food enzyme containing endo‐polygalacturonase, pectinesterase and pectin lyase activities from the non‐genetically modified Aspergillus niger strain CCTCC M 2023236

open access: yesEFSA Journal, Volume 24, Issue 4, April 2026.
Abstract The food enzyme containing endo‐polygalacturonase (1,4‐α‐d‐galacturonan glycanohydrolase; EC 3.2.1.15), pectinesterase (pectin pectylhydrolase; EC 3.1.1.11) and pectin lyase (1,4‐6‐O‐methyl‐α‐d‐galacturonan lyase; EC 4.2.2.10) activities is produced with the non‐genetically modified Aspergillus niger strain CCTCC M 2023236 by Suntaq ...

Safety evaluation of the food enzyme pectin lyase from the non‐genetically modified Aspergillus luchuensis strain LC‐07

open access: yesEFSA Journal, Volume 24, Issue 4, April 2026.
Abstract The food enzyme pectin lyase (1,4‐6‐O‐methyl‐α‐D‐galacturonan lyase; EC 4.2.2.10) is produced with the non‐genetically modified Aspergillus luchuensis strain LC‐07 by Shin Nihon Chemical Co., Ltd. The food enzyme was considered free from viable cells of the production organism.

Inhibition of CDK9 enhances AML cell death induced by combined venetoclax and azacitidine

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 20, Issue 2, Page 555-572, February 2026.
The CDK9 inhibitor AZD4573 downregulates c‐MYC and MCL‐1 to induce death of cytarabine (AraC)‐resistant AML cells. This enhances VEN + AZA‐induced cell death significantly more than any combination of two of the three drugs in AraC‐resistant AML cells.
