Towards Defect Phase Diagrams: From Research Data Management to Automated Workflows
A research data management infrastructure is presented for the systematic integration of heterogeneous experimental and simulation data required for defect phase diagrams. The approach combines openBIS with a companion application for large‐object storage, automated metadata extraction, provenance tracking and federated data access, thereby supporting ...

A Gamification of Japanese Dependency Parsing
Gamification approaches have been used as a way for creating language resources for NLP. It is also used for presenting and teaching the algorithms in NLP and linguistic phenomena. This paper argues about a design of gamification for Japanese syntactic dependendency parsing for the latter objective.

Projective dependency parsing with perceptron [PDF]
We describe an online learning dependency parser for the CoNLL-X Shared Task, based on the bottom-up projective algorithm of Eisner (2000). We experiment with a large feature set that models: the tokens involved in dependencies and their immediate context, the surfacetext distance between tokens, and the syntactic context dominated by each dependency ...

PASTA‐ELN: Simplifying Research Data Management for Experimental Materials Science
Research data management faces ongoing hurdles as many ELNs remain complex and restrictive. PASTA‐ELN offers an open‐source, cross‐platform solution that prioritizes simplicity, offline access, and user control. Its in tuitive folder structure, modular Python add‐ons, and open formats enable seamless documentation, FAIR data practices, and easy ...

Partial dependency parsing for Irish [PDF]
In this paper we present a partial dependency parser for Irish, in which Constraint Grammar (CG) rules are used to annotate dependency relations and grammatical functions in unrestricted Irish text.

The PaGe 2008 shared task on parsing German
The ACL 2008 Workshop on Parsing German features a shared task on parsing German. The goal of the shared task was to find reasons for the radically different behavior of parsers on the different treebanks and between constituent and dependency ...

A syntactic language model based on incremental CCG parsing [PDF]
Syntactically-enriched language models (parsers) constitute a promising component in applications such as machine translation and speech-recognition.

Reproduction of stacking fault energy calculations from literature with a semi‐automated large language model‐assisted extraction procedure: extraction of simulation protocol, atomistic structures, computational parameters, and reported results, ontology alignment, knowledge graph construction and, finally, recomputation forvalidation.

Improving dependency label accuracy using statistical post-editing: A cross-framework study [PDF]
We present a statistical post-editing method for modifying the dependency labels in a dependency analysis. We test the method using two English datasets, three parsing systems and three labelled dependency schemes.
