The Impact of Immunotherapy on Hair Repigmentation in Patients With Thoracic Tumors: A Clinical Observation Based on Trichoscopy

open access: yesThoracic Cancer, Volume 17, Issue 13, July 2026.
This prospective study quantitatively evaluates the phenomenon of hair repigmentation in patients with thoracic tumors undergoing immunotherapy. Using standardized trichoscopy and grayscale analysis, we observed a significant darkening of hair color following treatment with PD‐1/PD‐L1 inhibitors.

A Primate‐Specific lncRNA LINC01021 Contributes to Cellular and Organismal Aging via DAZAP1‐Dependent Destabilization of RBMX

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 7, July 2026.
Primate‐specific lncRNA LINC01021 promotes aging by enhancing cellular senescence and accelerating aspects of organismal decline. Mechanistically, LINC01021 induces DAZAP1‐mediated destabilization of RBMX, activating the P53 pathway and establishing a primate‐specific regulatory axis in aging.

The technical and practical implementation of fundus photography in equids

open access: yesEquine Veterinary Education, Volume 38, Issue 7, Page 371-381, July 2026.
Summary Background Fundus photography is an important diagnostic tool in human and veterinary medicine. Advances in research are increasing its accessibility in human medicine. However, there is a lack of studies on modern fundus photography in animals, particularly in horses. Objectives To assess the use of a portable fundus camera developed for human

Flavobacterium oreochromis From Farmed Tambaqui (Colossoma macropomum): Insights Into Genetic, Phenotypic and Pathogenic Diversity

open access: yesJournal of Fish Diseases, Volume 49, Issue 7, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Flavobacterium spp. are the etiological agents of columnaris disease. Although there is evidence that columnaris poses a significant threat to the farming of tambaqui (Colossoma macropomum), there remains a large gap in understanding the genetic and phenotypic diversities of columnaris‐causing bacteria (CCB).

N-Aryl-S-aryl-2-mercaptoacetamide Derivatives Effectively Inhibit Mushroom and Cellular Tyrosinase Activities, Melanin Production, and Pigmentation in Zebrafish Larvae: Regarding Copper Ion Chelation

open access: yesMolecules
In this study, we designed and synthesized 11 N-aryl-S-aryl-2-mercaptoacetamide derivatives as new tyrosinase inhibitors (TYRIs). Experiments with pyrocatechol violet confirmed that four derivatives showed copper-chelating abilities similar to or ...

Design, Synthesis, and Antioxidant and Anti-Tyrosinase Activities of (Z)-5-Benzylidene-2-(naphthalen-1-ylamino)thiazol-4(5H)-one Analogs: In Vitro and In Vivo Insights

open access: yesMolecules
Fifteen compounds (1–15) constructed on a hybrid structure combining a β-phenyl-α,β-unsaturated carbonyl template and a 2-aminothiazol-4(5H)-one scaffold were designed and synthesized as potential novel anti-tyrosinase substances.

Segmental vitiligo distribution follows the underlying arterial blood supply territory: a hypothesis based on anatomo-clinical, pathological and physio-pathological studies

open access: yesFrontiers in Medicine
BackgroundSegmental vitiligo (SV) is a subset of vitiligo typically characterized by its unilateral distribution. The pathogenesis of SV remains unclear, and until now the two main patterns proposed for SV have lacked biological support. This calls for a
