The Molecular Weight Characterisation of Pinus radiata Bark Condensed Tannins

open access: yes, 2007
Crude condensed tannins extracted from Pinus radiata bark (sourced from Tokoroa) with various solvents (Hot water (HW), methanol/water/acetic acid (MWA), acetone/water (AW) and hot aqueous 2% sulphite/urea solution (SFU)) were subjected to Sephadex LH-20

Direct HPILC Analysis on Cellulose Depolymerisation in Ionic Liquids

open access: yes, 2013
Changes of average molecular weight and molecular weight distribution of cellulose in a polar ionic liquid (IL) were analysed with high performance liquid chromatography using a polar IL as an eluent (HPILC). 1-Ethyl-3-methylimidazolium methylphosphonate

Precision Lignocellulosic Biorefinery: Process Regulation From Corn Stover to Products

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a precision biorefinery framework that transforms corn stover into high‐value bioproducts through whole‐process regulation. Mechanical fractionation separates feedstock into parenchyma‐rich short fibers and vascular‐bundle‐dominant long fibers.

High temperature-induced production of unreduced pollen and its cytological effects in Populus

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2017
Temperature change is of potential to trigger the formation of unreduced gametes. In this study, we showed that short periods of high temperature treatment can induce the production of 2n pollen in Populus pseudo-simonii Kitag.

High‐Performance Prevascularized SHED‐Laden rGO@Hydrogel Achieves Optimized Diabetic Bone Defect Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A high‐performance 3D scaffold integrating rGO and SHEDs is developed to overcome impaired healing in diabetic bone defects. By driving extracellular matrix remodeling, rGO creates a pro‐angiogenic niche that significantly accelerates in vitro vascular network formation.
