Precarious agency: The role of uptake

open access: yesThe Southern Journal of Philosophy, EarlyView.
Abstract How do we overcome the agency dilemma, that is, account for the fact that power relations heavily affect our agency without neglecting the many ways in which oppressed people act meaningfully? This article offers a solution by paying special attention to socially complex uptake in a framework of communities of practice. In order to explain the

Understanding and truth in Hannah Arendt: The critical reception of the Eichmann trial and the will

AI Authoritarianism: Towards an Analytical Framework

open access: yesTransactions of the Institute of British Geographers, EarlyView.
Short Abstract This Intervention offers a call for investigating the deepening alignment of artificial intelligence and authoritarian politics. We argue that AI is not simply extending,
