Abstract Synthetic jet fuel containing non‐petroleum‐derived kerosene can be produced from synthetic kerosene obtained through processes that include a hydroprocessing step. The potential use of non‐sulphided (reduced) nickel supported on alumina (Ni/Al2O3) was evaluated as an alternative to sulphided catalysts to saturate alkenes in sulphur‐free ...

Abstract Acid catalyzed conversion of durene by isomerization, disproportionation, and transalkylation is of interest to the development of a methanol‐to‐jet process to reduce the amount of durene in the kerosene. It was of interest to determine whether durene conversion could be performed at a temperature lower than 350°C.

The effect of high-pressure carbon dioxide processing on inactivation of aerobic mesophilic bacteria and Escherichia coli ATCC 25922 inoculated in human milk was investigated. The effect of the ratio between sample mass and CO2 (1:0.2; 1:0.6 and 1:1 m/m);

In order to further control the equivalent circulating density,a new type of annular pres-sure-reducing downhole tool for high temperature and high pressure wells-liquid-absorbing ECD tool is designed.Through this tool,the bottom hole pressure of the equivalent circulating drilling fluid can be close to its hydrostatic pres-sure,therebyachieving a ...
