Graphene (0002)/Diamond (111) Heterojunction with High Piezoresistive Response
Graphene/diamond heterostructures show promise as silicon alternatives for semiconductors, but high‐quality integration is challenging. Thermal electron irradiation enables covalent bonding; lonsdaleite acts as an intermediate. The heterostructure exhibits a high piezoresistive response (gauge factor −1149) associated with electron‐rich layers and ...

Experimental Simulation of the Exploitation of Natural Gas Hydrate
Natural gas hydrates are cage-like crystalline compounds in which a large amount of methane is trapped within a crystal structure of water, forming solids at low temperature and high pressure.

Geometric constraint reconfiguration enables a rigid–foldable kirigami‐inspired mechanism to switch between twisting, directional translation, and self‐locking states. By encoding multifunctionality directly into its architecture, the mechanism achieves multimodal motion and passive locking without reassembly, providing a compact platform for adaptive ...

A Depressurization Assistance System for a Seated Patient on a Wheelchair
For reducing the risk of pressure sores caused by a long period of sitting in a wheelchair, we have developed a depressurization motion assistance system that is low in cost and suitable for practical use. Our developing system consists of a seat cushion that the patient sits on and four air cells that can lift or incline the seat cushion.

Developing Soft Interconnected Microchannel Network for 2D Skin‐Like Actuator
A soft interconnected network of microchannels is proposed to develop new pneumatic actuators for future bio‐inspired soft robots. Simultaneous stimulation of this network generates regional asymmetric strains in walls of microchannels whose interaction across the entire surface leads to bending curvatures in multidimensions.

Automated generative process synthesis via transformer‐based dual‐loop simulation and optimization
Abstract This study presents a novel framework for automated generative process synthesis, addressing the complexity of simultaneously optimizing discrete topologies and continuous operating variables. To overcome conventional superstructure limitations, we propose a dual‐loop architecture integrating generative transformers with rigorous process ...
