ABSTRACT Background Japan has one of the highest dialysis prevalence rates worldwide and a shrinking, aging population. Whether dialysis burden has entered a sustained post‐peak phase or whether recent declines partly reflect pandemic‐related disruptions remains uncertain.

Some conditions under which Jordan derivations are zero
In the current article, we obtain the following results: Let A be an algebra and P be a semi-prime ideal of A. Suppose that d:Aâ(A/P) is a Jordan derivation such that dim{d(a)|aâA}â¤1. If d(P)={0}, then d is zero.

An analysis of grammars by their derivation sets
One of the difficulties in the analysis of context-free grammars (and therefore languages) is the strong combinatorial nature of the mechanism. A measure of this complexity is suggested here. It involves labeling the productions and considering the sequences of labels that correspond to valid derivations.

Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

f-Fixed Points of Isotone f-Derivations on a Lattice
In a recent paper, Çeven and Öztürk have generalized the notion of derivation on a lattice to f-derivation, where f is a given function of that lattice into itself.

Fig 3 shows the ROC curves for the ID-BactER score.
ROC curves of ID-BactER score. The ●s indicate results from the derivation set, and the ○s indicate results from the validation set. The areas under the curves are 0.80 (95% CI, 0.77–0.83) for the derivation set and 0.74 (0.68–0.80) for the validation ...

Organoids in pediatric cancer research
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

On a Special Subclass of the Set of Derivatives
We deal with the class of functions defined as a sum of a uniformly convergent series of functions continuous both on a closed set and on its complement. Such functions are mentioned in the literature, e.g., [1], [2], [3], [4].$ We investigate the particular class of derivatives.
