The Limits of Derivative Actions: The Application of Limitation Periods to Derivative Actions
Limitation periods are an integral and significant aspect of the litigation process in Canada. Although the application of limitation periods may often seem harsh, they are generally considered to be beneficial by bringing stability to society and by providing an incentive to plaintiffs not to “sleep on their rights.” However, in corporate derivative ...

The Antiarrhythmic Action of Phenothiazine Derivatives
Some clinical and experimental observations are reported, concerning the antiarrhythmic action of phenothiazine derivatives. These were effective clinically on extrasystoles but not on auricular fibrillation. Comments will also be made on the close relationship between chemical structure and the antiarrhythmic activity of these drugs.

Higher derivative corrections to Kerr black hole thermodynamics
In an effective field theory approach to gravity, the Einstein-Hilbert action is supplemented by higher derivative terms. In the absence of matter, four derivative terms can be eliminated by a field redefinition.

Higher-derivative supergravity, AdS4 holography, and black holes
We use conformal supergravity techniques to study four-derivative corrections in four-dimensional gauged supergravity. We show that the four-derivative Lagrangian for the propagating degrees of freedom of the N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 gravity multiplet is ...

Exact solution of higher-derivative conformal theory and minimal models
I investigate the two-dimensional four-derivative conformal theory that emerges from the Nambu-Goto string after the path-integration over all fields but the metric tensor. Using the method of singular products which accounts for tremendous cancellations

ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

ABSTRACT Background PIK3CA‐related overgrowth spectrum (PROS) includes several rare overgrowth disorders resulting from somatic gain‐of‐function mutations in PIK3CA. Despite treatment advances, including the recent approval of alpelisib for PROS in the United States, literature detailing the patient experience with PROS is limited.

ABSTRACT Background 131I‐metaiodobenzylguanidine (131I‐MIBG) radiotherapy is a key treatment for relapsed and refractory (R/R) neuroblastoma (NB). Patients with R/R disease treated in the modern era are increasingly exposed to anti‐GD2 immunotherapy, which exerts selective pressure and may modify both tumor cell state and microenvironment.
