TEAD1 Enhances Exosome Secretion and Promotes Exosome‐Mediated Tissue Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
TEAD1 functions as a crucial molecular switch regulating exosome secretion in various cell types. TEAD1 enhances exosome secretion by upregulating key proteins associated with exosome secretion, including RAB11, CD9, and SNAP23. This study reveals a novel role for TEAD1 in regulating exosome secretion and tissue regeneration, particularly in diabetic ...

Role of ASLNC168501 in regulating hair follicle stem cell activity via the AR/miR-128-3p/IGF-1 pathway

open access: yesStem Cell Research & Therapy
Background Hair follicle stem cells (HFSCs) in androgenetic alopecia (AGA) patients exhibit functional impairment, reduced quantity, dysregulation, and androgen sensitivity, which hinder therapeutic strategies targeting HFSCs activation for hair ...

Targeted Extracellular Vesicles Deliver Asiaticoside to Inhibit AURKB/DRP1‐Mediated Mitochondrial Fission and Attenuate Hypertrophic Scar Formation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Hypertrophic scar formation is driven by excessive mitochondrial fission in wound macrophages, which we discover is governed by a novel AURKB‐DRP1(Ser616) axis. The study develops a targeted therapy using cRGD‐decorated extracellular vesicles to deliver the natural compound Asiaticoside specifically to macrophages.

Mitochondrial CircRNA CircMT‐RNR2 Safeguards Antioxidant Defense to Support Fibroblast Functions in Wound Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CircMT‐RNR2 promotes wound healing by enhancing fibroblast proliferation, migration, contraction, and extracellular matrix (ECM) production. It sustains mitochondrial redox balance by stabilizing the antioxidant protein PRDX3, thereby reducing ROS‐induced damage. In diabetic foot ulcers, hypoxia, hyperglycemia, and reduced FGF2 and EGF expression lower

The Reverse Galeal Hinge Flap: Another Valuable Technique in the Repair of Scalp Defects Extending to the Calvarium [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Over the last 30 years, the estimated incidence of nonmelanoma skin cancer (NMSC) has increased from 300,000 to greater than 2 million cases. Approximately 15% of these cancers occur on the scalp.1 Given the increasing incidence of NMSC and their ...

Depletion of the RNA‐Editing Enzyme ADAR1 Invigorates the Antitumor Immunity of NK Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ADAR1 is upregulated in NK cells from melanoma patients, impairing their function. Its loss enhances NK cell tumor infiltration and cytotoxicity in vitro and in vivo. Mechanistically, ADAR1 deficiency destabilizes CD38 mRNA to reduce its expression, thereby increasing NK cell mobility and killing, which nominates it as a therapeutic target for NK cell ...
