Adversarial Distortion Learning for Medical Image Denoising [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2022
We present a novel adversarial distortion learning (ADL) for denoising two- and three-dimensional (2D/3D) biomedical image data. The proposed ADL consists of two auto-encoders: a denoiser and a discriminator. The denoiser removes noise from input data and the discriminator compares the denoised result to its noise-free counterpart.

The Role of Dermatoscopy to Differentiate Vestibular Papillae from Condyloma Acuminate in a Pregnant Woman

open access: yesClinical Medical Reviews and Case Reports, 2022
The vestibular papillae (VP) represent an anatomical variant of the normal genital epithelium and are probably the female equivalent of pearly penile papules. It is thought that they are present in 1% of women, and this low percentage may be due to their
