Diagnostic concordance of dermatopathology and PCR in differentiating eczema from psoriasis

open access: yesJournal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, EarlyView.
Distinguishing psoriasis from eczema is challenging due to overlapping clinical and histological features. This study shows substantial inter‐observer variability among dermatopathologists and demonstrates that a NOS2‐/CCL27‐based molecular test, including a fully automated platform, provides more accurate and reproducible diagnoses, particularly in ...

Cutaneous T‐cell lymphomas and dupilumab for atopic dermatitis: A systematic review and expert consensus

open access: yesJournal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, EarlyView.
Systematic review (51 studies; 547 patients) indicates dupilumab may unmask/worsen CTCL (mainly MF/SS). A French Delphi consensus recommends rigorous diagnostic workup, avoiding dupilumab in confirmed CTCL, discontinuing upon diagnosis, and favouring methotrexate or phototherapy.

Diagnostic Agreement in Subepidermal Blistering Diseases: Is ELISA Test Reliable as Direct Immunofluorescence? A Systematic Review, Meta‐Analysis, and Trial Sequential Analysis

open access: yesJournal of Oral Pathology &Medicine, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives Direct immunofluorescence (DIF) is the gold standard for diagnosing subepidermal blistering diseases (SBDs). However, DIF requires specialized expertise; therefore, alternative immunological methods such as enzyme‐linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA) are worth exploring. The aim of this review was to evaluate the diagnostic agreement
