Preparation of Hydrophilic Polysilsesquioxanes and Their Applications as Water Separation and Antifogging Coating Materials

Hydrophilic substituents were introduced onto the silicon atoms of random polysilsesquioxanes (PSQs) to improve water permeability and absorptivity for exploring the applications of PSQ materials as heat‐ and chlorine‐resistant water desalination reverse osmosis (RO) membranes and scratch‐resistant antifogging coating materials.
