Progressive Insights into 3D Bioprinting for Corneal Tissue Restoration
This review explores the potential of 3D bioprinting to replicate the complex structure and function of the human cornea. It highlights key advances in bioink development, printing modalities, and in vivo performance, while addressing current challenges and emerging strategies. The review emphasizes bioprinting's promise to overcome donor shortages and

Deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty (DALK) selectively replaces the scarred or diseased corneal stroma, while preserving healthy endothelium, thus providing an alternative to penetrating keratoplasty (PK) for patients with stromal disorders. Despite its recognized advantages, DALK has not become as widely adopted as anticipated over the past decades ...

Abstract Purpose To analyse anterior segment optical coherence tomography (AS‐OCT) parameters of graft dehiscence after Descemet membrane endothelial keratoplasty (DMEK) for graft failure post penetrating keratoplasty (PK). Methods Retrospective evaluation of AS‐OCT images of 142 dehiscences post‐DMEK in 75 eyes.

This study reports the upregulation of ELMO1 and GPR141 in human Fuchs' endothelial corneal dystrophy (FECD) corneal endothelium and ultraviolet A‐induced FECD mice model. A genetic association of an intergenic single nucleotide polymorphism rs918980 present between both genes is observed with FECD in the Indian population.
