Color and COD Removal From ECF Effluent by Airlift Reactor With Immobilized Lentinus edodes
Airlift bioreactor treating ECF bleaching effluent with Lentinus edodes immobilized on polystyrene fibers achieved up to 48% color and 41% COD removal. Under optimized aeration (300 mL/min) and HRT (78 h) without glucose, COD removal remained stable for 15 days, supporting a low‐input, enzyme‐driven strategy for pulp‐and‐paper wastewater. This study investigated an animal model of short‐term high‐salt exposure (2% NaCl) for 7 days and its effects on baroreflex function, cardiac autonomic balance, and the pattern of paraventricular nucleus of the hypothalamus (PVH) neuronal activation during a baroreflex loading. High salt intake leads to an increase in blood pressure (BP) and heart rate

“Steak Dry Aging”: An Innovative Approach to Producing High‐Yield, High‐Quality Dry‐Aged Beef
ABSTRACT This study evaluated a novel steak dry‐aging (StDA) protocol in which portioned beef steaks were dry‐aged until reaching an average weight loss of 15% and subsequently wet‐aged to achieve a total aging time of either 14 or 28 days. The new protocol was compared with conventional dry aging (DA) for 28 days and unaged controls.

Analysis of the Degradation of Thermochromic Sensors in Electrical Devices
This study examines the degradation of microencapsulated leuco thermochromic pigments, both pure and embedded in epoxy, under thermal, cyclic, and QUV aging. UV radiation is the main factor causing irreversible loss of thermochromism due to microcapsule damage and solvent loss, while thermal exposure produces minor effects.
