Research design and methodology
2013Coming to terms with diversity is both a key characteristic of and a fundamental challenge to European integration. This presupposes, inter alia, a communicative space in which Europeans can exchange and negotiate their perspectives on the future shape of the EU. Since the latter is based on information and opinion, some sort of cultural and political ‘

Design methodologies: Industrial and educational applications
CIRP Annals, 2009The field of Design Theory and Methodology has a rich collection of research results that has been taught at educational institutions as well as applied to design practices. First, this keynote paper describes some methods to classify them. It then illustrates individual theories and methodologies focusing on industrial and educational use.

Noise safety design methodologies
Proceedings IEEE 2000 First International Symposium on Quality Electronic Design (Cat. No. PR00525), 2002The increasing densities in growing size circuits leads us to consider as an issue noise problems such as crosstalk, switching noise, electromigration and substrate injection. Noise safety must be a clear objective in design tools, whose development must then include circuit models for the analysis of noise phenomena.

Design of Design Methodology for Autonomous Robots
2008We present a methodology for deriving design methodology for autonomous robots. We designed this methodology in the context of a robotics course in high schools. The motivation for designing this new methodology was improving the robots' robustness and reliability and preparing students for becoming better designers.

Teaching A Software Design Methodology
IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, 1987This paper describes an approach to teaching a software design methodology used at The Wang Institute of Graduate Studies. The approach is general enough to be used with any of the currently popular design methodologies. Students are first taught the principles underlying the methodology, and the standards used with it.

Methodological Constants in Courseware Design
British Journal of Educational Technology, 1997The author draws on her practical experience in courseware development as well as her research experience in the development of authoring systems to suggest that, in spite of the significant changes currently taking place in this field, some of the old models proposed for courseware development maintain their validity from a methodological point of ...
