Desmidiales Round (Streptophyta) ?????????????????? ???????????????? ??. ?????????? (??????????????)

2014
The first data about Desmidiales of two Kiev lakes (Syneye and Goluboye) are present. 70 species (74 infr. taxa) were found in the lakes. Two species (Cosmarium cyaneilacustre Lilitska sp. nov. and C. reticulatum Lilitska sp. nov.) were described as a new for sciences.

New insights into the morphology, taxonomy and geographical distribution of Pleurotaenium subcoronulatum (Zygnematophyceae, Desmidiales)

Phytotaxa
This study investigates the morphology and distribution of infraspecific taxa of P. subcoronulatum. Research identified taxonomic issues and discrepancies in prior literature concerning morphological similarities among infraspecific taxa. The consolidation of two closely related taxa into a single variety, P. subcoronulatum var.

Diverzita, rozšíření, fylogeneze a ekologie rodu Micrasterias (Desmidiales)

2014
The genus Micrasterias comprises one of the most beautiful organisms. It attracts, due to its spectacularly shaped cells, the attention of scientist and amateur biologist almost for almost 200 years. This thesis summarizes the current knowledge about these extraordinary organisms.

Floristic composition of Desmidiales (except Cosmarium) on a Brazilian subtropical lake

2011

2013
The delineation of desmid species was traditionally based on purely morphological features. However, a frequent misinterpretation of morphological variability in desmids has led in the past to extensive taxonomical confusion within this important group of green algae which complicates the interpretation of their biodiversity in freshwater ecology ...

Diverzita druhového komplexu Micrasterias papillifera / M. radiosa (Desmidiales)

2016
This Master's thesis deals with diversity within the Micrasterias papillifera/ M. radiosa (Desmidiales) species complex. Both species are inhabitants of endangered biotops, like peat-bogs and, like other desmids, are used for biomonitoring. Many described varieties for both of them can be found in taxonomic literature, but their morphology is ...

Substrate specificity of epiphytic communities of diatoms (Bacillariophyceae) and desmids (Desmidiales) Bc. Petra Mutinová Master's thesis, Prague, 2015 Abstract It has been always assumed, and frequently reported, that host plants, as biologically active substrates, should have a direct influence on associated epiphyton. However, some studies favoured

Fenotypová plasticita a morfogeneze desmídií (krásivky, Desmidiales, Zygnematophyceae)

Desmids are green streptophyte algae classified in the order of Desmidiales. The cells of desmids are notable for the presence of mirror-symmetrical ornamented semicells connected by a plasmatic bridge, the isthmus. This group of organisms is characterised by a rather high ecological specificity, causing them to respond to changes in environmental ...
