UiO‐66 metal–organic frameworks in biomedicine: From structural tunability to bioimaging, photodiagnostics, and photodynamic cancer therapy

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
UiO‐66(Zr) metal–organic frameworks are chemically stable, biocompatible, and highly tunable nanomaterials. Their modular structure enables controlled drug delivery, multimodal bioimaging, and light‐activated photodynamic therapy, supporting integrated diagnostic and therapeutic (theranostic) applications in cancer and biomedical research.

Aquaporin‐3 and aquaporin‐5 impact the development of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma spheroids

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Schematic representation of the role of aquaporin‐3 (AQP3) and aquaporin‐5 (AQP5) in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). Both proteins are upregulated in PDAC and are associated with tumor progression and metastatic potential. Silencing AQP3 or AQP5 in PDAC spheroids results in decreased diameter, area, and overall growth, underscoring their key ...

Detection techniques for epitranscriptomic marks

American Journal of Physiology-Cell Physiology, 2022
Similar to epigenetic DNA modification, RNA can be methylated and altered for stability and processing. RNA modifications, namely, epitranscriptomes, involve the following three functions: writing, erasing, and reading of marks. Methods for measurement and position detection are useful for the assessment of cellular function and human disease ...

Botnets and their detection techniques

2020 International Symposium on Networks, Computers and Communications (ISNCC), 2020
Botnet is considered a dangerous threat that could harm internet users as it makes the compromised host becomes under the control of the botmaster and follow its commands to perform a wide range of malicious activities such as distributed denial of service (DDOS), spamming, identity theft, click fraud, and phishing attacks.
